Bring, Invest, Give and Go for One person in 2013

Here’s what those words represent:

I Bring

1 Peter 2:12  Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

 

In order to attract people to Cornerstone and in the bigger picture, to Christ, we offer Upward Sports, Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS), Celebrate Recovery, and programming for Special Needs families.

 

 

I Invest

Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

To make disciples, we have Weekend Messages, Life Groups where close bonds can be formed, Bible Studies that teach the truths of God’s Word, and Wednesday Connections that take the Weekend Messages even deeper. We also support St. Louis Christian College in its mission to”pursue excellence in the Word and develop servant leaders for urban, suburban, rural, and global ministry.”

 

 

I Give

2 Corinthians 9:11  You
will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

 

We have created partnerships with Beacon, Christian Activity Center, Bond Christian Camp, St. Louis Christian College, and Central India Christian Mission to expand our reach even further than our own space in Shiloh, Illinois. These partners receive financial as well as volunteer support.

 

 

 

I Go

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

We work toward taking what we learn at Cornerstone through God’s word into our neighborhoods, with our work associates, within community organizations and worldwide organizations as well.
