Ian Stamps

Ian graduated from Saint Louis Christian College in 2001 and is currently pursuing his Masters from Cincinnati Christian University (May 2012). Ian has been on staff at Cornerstone since September 2004 in various roles becoming Senior Pastor in January of 2009. Ian enjoys spending time with his family & reading. During a weekend service, Ian is generally giving the message or sharing sarcastic remarks everywhere he goes.

John Mueth
Creative Arts Minister

John has been leading worship for eleven years and has served on Tech teams and with the Youth ministry. He also currently works with our 18-24 crowd.  His favorite thing to do is to play with his two sons. During weekend services, John can be found in the Worship Center leading Worship

Scott Adkins
Executive Pastor

Scott obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Church Music from Mississippi College. He has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served twenty-five years in different churches. Scott loves sports of all kinds. He will be seen all over the place during weekend services.

Carol Becker
Children's Minister

Carol received her Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education from St. Louis Christian College. She has served as Children's Minister at Eastview Christian Church in Martinsville, Indiana for five years and also at Mountainview Christian Church in Greshem, Oregon for two years. Carol recently completed her fifth year here at Cornerstone. She loves to spend time with Jeremy and her family. She enjoys swimming, reading and visiting with friends. During weekend services, Carol can be found speeding all around the Children's area.

Holly Kinney
Elementary Awana Minister

Holly graduated from St. Louis Christian College with an Associates Degree in General Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry. Following an internship at Florissant Christian Church, she came to Cornerstone as the Associate Preschool Minister and later became the Elementary Minister. Currently she serves as the Elementary Awana Minister. Holly loves to spend time with her family, go to craft fairs and coupon! For weekend services Holly can be found in worship or around the office area.

Tracy Filipiak
Children's Ministry Assistant.

Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and also a Master's of Business Administration from Lindenwood University. She has served with the Connection Team, Worship Team, Children's Ministry, and Awana. Her favorite thing is sporting events. During the weekend services Tracy will be found at the Children's Ministry Registration Desk or somewhere in the Children's wing.

Jeff Chamberlain
Youth Minister

Jeff graduated from St. Louis Christian College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in youth ministry. He has served with congregations in Tennessee, Oregon, Missouri and Arizona. He has been with Cornerstone since 2008. His favorite pastimes are to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and the Mizzou tigers. He also enjoys playing with his kiddos and playing fantasy football. Jeff can be found in the youth room with lots of teenagers during weekend worship services.

Gina Gill

Gina attended two and a half years of nursing school in Memphis, Tennessee. She has served on worship team, as youth coach and multiple other roles throughout the church. She currently leads a Life Group called "Creative Ladies" and serves as the administrative assistant to the youth ministry. She enjoys photography and loves riding the Harley and working in the yard. For weekend services, Gina is in worship or is one of the many friendly faces you will find at the church window.

Brandon Braun
Discipleship Minister

Brandon graduated from Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University) with a B.A. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in New Testament Studies from Johnson. Brandon entered full time ministry in 2002 and joined Cornerstone staff in 2007. For fun, Brandon reads, goes to the movies, watches TV and roots for the Packers. The best place to find Brandon during weekend services is near the kitchen and all the cookies, or in the foyer area.

Jama Burch

Jama graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing major. She has served on worship team by playing piano/keyboard, has been a Women's ministry leader and currently serves with the TeenMOPS group. Jama's favorite place to be is on the beach with a book. During Weekend services she can be found at the Welcome Banner in the Worship Center greeting first time visitors.

Ken Goretzke

Ken is a retired construction worker and has been at Cornerstone for six years. During his spare time he likes to garden and swim in his pool. He enjoys socializing with friends, family and his Life Team. Ken has served in choirs, as an Awana leader, on church school boards, finance committees and communion teams. Ken was known for his homemade biscuits for men's prayer breakfasts. He currently serves on our Connection team. Ken is a great asset to our church and keeps everything running smoothly.

Rick Hodshire
Community Outreach Minister/ Elder

Rick received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from St Louis Christian College. His favorite pastimes include reading, old movies, and all things National Football League. Rick has served as Pastor in several churches in Illinois, as well as with a church planting ministry to Northern Brazil. In 1993 Rick came during a transitional time in our congregation’s history and was able to serve in several capacities during a time that God has blessed Cornerstone richly.  Rick also serves as an Elder on our Leadership Team.  You can usually find him during the weekend services saying “hi” to someone with a coffee pot in his hand.

Josh Kinney
Connections Minister

Josh graduated from St. Louis Christian College in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Bible with a Preaching Specialization. He is currently working towards his Master's from Cincinnati Christian University (2012). Josh joined the staff of Cornerstone in 2008. In Josh's spare time he likes spending time with his wife and son and watching the Georgia Bulldogs or Atlanta Braves while eating pizza and drinking Cherry Coke. During weekend services, he will be in the foyer welcoming people or by the Welcome Banner meeting the guests of our church.

Vicki McGee
Finance

Vicki received a Christian Service Certificate from St. Louis Christian College and an accounting certificate from Hickey Business School. She is an enrolled agent through the IRS which requires 24 Continuing Education Credits per year. Vicki has served in nearly every role imaginable in a church, including Preacher's Wife, but now focuses on tax prep for ministers and church organizations. Vicki loves to cook, read books, spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter. Vicki attends CrossPointe Christian Church.

Sarah Robinson

Sarah graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor's Degree in English/ Education. She is currently working on her Master's Degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Sarah joined Cornerstone in 2005 and has been our receptionist since 2006 . She accepted the Women's Ministry Leader position in 2011. Sarah's enjoys spending time with family and friends. During the weekend services she can be spotted in the light booth or in worship.

Raydean Stuckey

Raydean graduated from SWIC with an Associate in Arts Degree and is currently attending McKendree University. She will graduate in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in English with a Writing Emphasis. Raydean has served in the Youth Ministry and Women's Ministry. She currently serves in the Children's Ministry. While spare time is rare, when it happens, she enjoys reading mindless books. During the weekend services Raydean will be in worship or in one of the nursery/ children's areas.

Ryan Wisnasky

Ryan graduated Southwestern Illinois College with an Associate of Science in Electronic Publishing and a certificate in Web Design in 2005. He also graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2008. Ryan has served on a Worship Team most of his life, either playing the tuba or bass, singing or helping run lights and sound. Ryan loves hanging with his family and new technology stuff. During services, he can be found in the booth.

Cathy Wright
Pastoral Care/ Special Needs Minister

Cathy received her Bachelor's degree in Christian Education with a minor in Music from Manhattan Christian College in Kansas. She began her ministry at Chapel Hill Christian Church (Cornerstone, before it was Cornerstone). She served as Christian Education/ Youth/ Worship Minister from 1977-1985. From 1985-2008 she served as the Worship Minister. Cathy served as Worship/ Special Needs minister from 2009-2010 and currently serves as Pastoral Care/ Special Needs minister. (Whew!) For fun Cathy loves to garden. During weekend services, Cathy is leading or helping in classes & worshiping.
