Children and youth pour through CAC’s doors every weekday at 3:30pm and stay until 8pm. Each child is offered a healthy after school snack, hot dinner meal, homework help, computer training, fine arts classes, recreation, medical care and life enhancement. In addition, CAC sends children to summer camps and on mission trips.

The family situations of the children who visit the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis are heart wrenching. There are children who live in cars and on the street, who deal daily with drug use and prostitution in homes, who endure physical abuse, and who live with dysfunctional families.  These children are experiencing much more than most of us have ever experienced.

Those in leadership at CAC have asked that WE ALL pray that the CYCLE of men and babies out of wedlock will end through JESUS’ love shown by staff, volunteers, and the Bible teaching at CAC.
